aspaara raises CHF 2 million to build the next generation ERP that is finally human-centric

Dynamic workforce allocation is still a continuous struggle, in particular, for industries with high peak demand. Due to the daily planning complexity, 3 out of 100 full-time equivalents are lost because of poor allocation with traditional Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. aspaara’s holistic Artificial Intelligence (AI) increases workforce utilization by up 12% in a human-centric way by respecting individual preferences. Wingman Ventures invests in aspaara to revolutionise ERP to make their clients ready for the future of work.

aspaara is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform that optimises resource planning and enables the creation of internal talent marketplaces. Talents tailor their schedules and career pathways using an AI matchmaking system that identifies open work opportunities automatically and in a short amount of time.

Based on research coducted together with world-leading universities, aspaara strives to save the most valuable resource — time — while offering a talent-centered resource planning approach.

aspaara’s has already been deployed at industry leaders in professional services (PwC), automotive (AMAG), aircraft operations (Swissport) and healthcare (KSB). It has proven to eliminate 6+% of incorrectly allocated labour costs, halved the time needed for planning, and reduced travel costs by nearly half by using a unique portfolio of deeply optimised matching algorithms and scoring techniques that adapt to the clients' challenges that put talents in the center of the planning.

aspaara analyses a client’s planning data and delivers optimisation insights directly to the planners while the agnostic optimzation engine integrates into the client's IT infrastructure and, thus, giving superpowers to planning teams.

The CHF 2 million funding, led by Wingman Ventures and additional investment from Gentian and experienced business angels, will allow aspaara to further improve its commercial software and expand its business operations beyond Switzerland. Prior to their first financing round, the founders Dr. Alexander Grimm and Dr. Kevin Zemmer had already received support from the Federal Government of Switzerland to promote science-based innovation in the interest of business and society.

The new partnership delights aspaara. "We're thrilled to partner with experienced investors to build the next generation ERP that is finally human-centric," says Dr. Alexander Grimm, CEO of aspaara.

“Workforce management is a $6+ billion market that will significantly grow in the coming years. aspaara offers a state-of-the-art solution that enables workforce planners to tackle the ever-increasing complexity and efficiency requirements in workforce planning. " states Lukas Weder, Founding Partner at Wingman Ventures and new member of the board at aspaara.
